BBS has an established history of working on a range of diverse projects;

Specialist Properties

From simple extensions to bespoke houses. Our Client base includes a number of developers with whom we have been engaged
in multiple build projects of between 3 and 25 units.

We regularly deal with thatched properties, or those of non-standard construction, either by way of alteration or refurbishment.

Our insurance related activities involve the reinstatement of damaged houses, either by flood, fire or storm and we are
appointed in connection with two remediation projects on the east coast.

Primarily, project management and survey work form the major basis of our workload in this sector.

BBS are currently providing these services for a large office refurbishment and are also acting in the joint role of
designer and project manager in the alteration and extension of smaller grouped units.

Where appropriate, we are able to provide structural, mechanical and electrical engineering support through our network of
local consultants.

We have a long standing relationship with a major car retailer and have been able to assist with the delivery of new showrooms
for a variety of vehicle brands.

Other activities in this sector generally fall within the categories of survey work, the preparation of schedules of
conditions, party wall matters and dilapidations.

We are commissioned in connection with High Street shop fit-outs, design of new units, alteration and extension of existing

We have recently completed the refurbishment of a substantial factory unit in St Neots, for a long term Client, having
historically overseen the construction of a similar facility in East Anglia.

Re-cladding, new drainage and resurfacing of a car park area, all to a local industrial site, are also typical of the projects in
which we are engaged.

BBS are presently surveying a small industrial complex with a view to assessing the value at risk for insurance reinstatement

BBS work with Sport England and the English Cricket Board. We are proud to have been able to provide new facilities both for
the Olympics 2012, by way of a regional training centre and to the community in the form of a new cricket pavilion.

The design and construction of a new library extension and GP surgery are currently ongoing, with plans to refurbish a day
nursery in the near future.

As consultants to the Thatched Owners Group, we undertake a significant number of extensions to Listed and period
properties annually. Construction and specialist repairs feature equally in our working agenda.
